BEN GIDERIM BATUMA (Batum'a)

A Turkish song from the Black Sea region introduced to me by my Turkish students through a classical guitar duet arrangement. I subsequently have transcribed the music based on several recordings and scores and input from Turkish musicians.
If anyone knows the mode this piece is in, please submit that information.

Lyrics and Translation:

Ben giderim Batum’a
Batum’un batagına
Pencereden icheri
Al beni otagına
Nazlı yarim geldim sana
Fistanini toplasana
Kemencheler çalınıyor
Bize horon oynasana hey
Koshke serdim yatagi
Gel derdimin ortagi
Yataklar diken oldu
Senden ayri yatali
Nazli yarim geldim sana
Fistanini toplasana
Kemencheler çalınıyor
Bize horon oynasana hey

TRANSLATION:
I am going to the Batum
To the swamp of Batum
From the window
Take me to your marquee

I come to you my coy darling
Get ready, grab your clothes
They are playing kemenche
Dance “horon” for us hey

I made the bed in the terrace
Come my partner who shares my sorrow
The beds become thorns
Since I sleep away from you

I come to you my coy darling
Get ready, grab your clothes
They are playing kemenche
Dance “horon” for us
